Winter Prep this week-end, putting lawn furniture away, getting the snow blower out of the shed and tuned up, putting the "summer" toys away, What fun!
EWWW. We have gotten the Pellet stove ready for the season and are now working on the boiler (by we I mean @art_of_shred) outside stuff is all ready set for the year. Last thing to do is put away the Camero.
Did a double take the other day, had another Camero that had the exact same paint job pull out behind my little Aveo...... I felt bad that the Camero had to follow me
Why? Aveos are awesome!
I was spoiled by driving a VW Cabrio (Convertible Jetta for our German friends), that was geared properly for a 99HP motor. The Aveo does have a well laid out interior, but the gearing is terrible. I'd rather drive something made to be on the Autobahn.
Ugh, can't agree with you more. The Aveo had a great clutch but anything over 45 was tough even at the highest gear.
I hate to be contrary, but I always thought the Aveo was a complete POS car. The Sonic was a huge improvement to replace that thing. I never even considered the Aveo to be an actual car. Not sure what I would call it, but nothing I'd ever be caught driving!
It was called the cheapest thing I could find when the timing belt in the previous care jumped a sprocket, and I'd generally agree with you about them now.

We had an Aveo, and it was an awesome little car. It handled well in the areas we generally drove. It was a bit too small for the family though. (Me, Wife, Kid, Dog, Cat).

I don't know... it was super inexpensive, at one point holding the title for least expensive vehicle in the US. got decent, not great, gas mileage, handled well in the snow. Overall it was a decent vehicle with some minor flaws. Although if I had ever gotten in to an accident I probably wouldn't have survived.

If you ignore the tendency of the motors to just stop working. Don't know about snow yet, but it doesn't handle any better than the Cobalt I had before.

@Minion-Queen Live on airplanes and airports. Hopefully grab one walk down La Rambla in the morning before I'm off to my metal tube prison.

Oh yeah I did forget about that!

Headed up to Fort Mountain State Park this weekend for some fall camping.
-
Hopefully nothing blissful nothing.
-
Weekend is too far away, absolutely no idea what we are going to be doing.
-
Just found out we will have 5 gallons of homemade hard cider for the camping trip... Hell yeah, danger juice!
-
Went to the Dallas beer festival yesterday.
-
Camping trip got canceled because much of the N Ga mountains are on fire. We went to the park and hiked to the overlook, and it was so smoky we could barely see the valley below. So we hung out at a friend's farm in Jasper and ate lots of good food and drank all the cider. We also cold smoked about 15 different kinds of cheese, and they had some homemade smoked salmon.

I've closed my year on camping.. Had hoped to go again, but now I don't know if I need to. Like N Ga, part of E Ky is or has been burned. The Red River Gorge area has been hit pretty hard.
Smoked Cheese- I have three block to smoke myself. but I may not get to them this week. I was also going to start some Canadian Bacon, but that may be too late ... oh well.
