@scottalanmiller And the music too. The game just sucks you in.
Yeah I want more Fable.
I've been playing Total War Warhammer 2 lately. I've got about 700 hours in the game...lol... -
I'm still playing Fallout 76 on the XBOX. Despite the bad press, I've been patient with the bugs and I'm really enjoying the experience of the game. Up to Level 44 with just occasional playing when I have time.
-
@garak0410 Right on, I've yet to try it, not really interested either regardless of bugs.
I just want TES 6 and Mount and Blade Warband 2

I love the idea of a prequel, but I'm so not into online gaming, I stick to single player experiences because I just can't commit the time.

I love Fallout in general, been a player since the original release!
-
@scottalanmiller As do I, I absolutely LOVED the base building system in the last game in the main series and definitely want to see that expanded.
Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, I freaking love Elder scrolls!

I do too, but not the online one. Just Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. Waiting on 6 to release.

@scottalanmiller TES edit Online is fun......but I'm done with MMOs, they're all the same and very boring end game.

The most interesting thing about Fallout 76 being an Online game is there is no pressure to play "online"...The "online" aspect seems to be more content related, map expansions, etc. For me, it feels like a never ending single player game. I play in non-combat mode meaning when I see others online, most of the time, we stop and wave at each other, trade or help complete an event...and you can use other peoples camp's for repair and rest...it is the most "relaxed" online game I've played...
-
@garak0410 Whoa, there's a non-combat mode? Ok that sounds intriguing.
Nothing like getting ganked over and over to make you hate MMOs.
Heh or being the bored ganker... -
@kamidon There are usually zones or even specific servers where you can pvp. Not that big of a problem

That definitely makes it a lot more interesting.

@scottalanmiller Yeah because having to constantly watch your back for other players adds a ridiculous amount of stress! Hah...Makes me think of my World of Warcraft days.

I don't mind that stuff, it's the online stuff... I don't have time to commit, and want to make sure that I can play the game 20 years from now kind of thing.
-
I'm a literary gamer, I am ALL about the story line in video games. So online tends to not do that very well (it could, the market just doesn't want that) and so single player games tend to suit me SO much better.

YES exactly, great point.
Eh and I didn't mind either, aside from the couple of times I was ganked for several hours. Though that sort of thing was and is few and far between.
Heh and they got theirs. -

Heh or being the bored ganker...Yep...I think it is OFF by default but you can turn PvP on or off in "Adventure Mode"...and it is the most friendly game I've ever played online...I had a surplus of Power Armor suits and I just felt generous and had a level 7 person follow me to my stash and I just gave him one.

World of Warcraft has pansy mode. My first MMO was all PvP all the time. Shadowbane, at least one community driven server is around still today.
