Just got Stardew Valley from the GOG sale. $10
You won't be disappointed.
It's for the kids
Now it is. Give it time
Liesl has been playing for about an hour now.
They should have named it "Timesuck Valley". Or maybe "Crack Valley". Most addictive game I've played in many years.
My daughter has done nothing else now.
Make sure she gets plenty of fluids and eats occasionally.

The other day I finally completed factorio (winning the game by launching a rocket into space with a satellite).
67 hours....
God I need to bring that time down... No more fancy base designs. Just efficient designs

Shit like that is why I started to replay DragonQuest Builders.

Yea I didn't realize how slow I was going lol. But a buddy got me to play the game with a shit tonne of mods and that really screwed me up from knowing what to build etc

I love games that support mods. The larger gaming community is amazing.
-
Some of the mods need to be included with the actual game. One of them was warehouses, literally store a shit tonne of resources.
Otherwise in the non-modded version it's just a tiny chest...

That is the biggest thing about mods, when the community fixes things the devs should have. I remember that there was a community patch released for Civ IV that made the game so much more stable. It is now included in the game by Firaxis if you purchase it from Steam.

That's basically the story of the Arma franchise. The base game is all but unplayable until you introduce a ton of mods.

All Bethesda games are this way as well. Vanilla Skyrim is just bad, but with just a few mods it can be so much more.

My FIL plays Runescape and has since it started. I believe he pays for 6 - 8 characters and keeps up with all of them. It seems crazy to me. He is retired and that is literally all he does besides eat and sleep.

Dungeons 2 is free right now at GOG

Started playing Horizon Zero Dawn - what a game! I can see why it won a lot of game of the year awards. It's like a cross between Zelda, Tomb Raider and Nier: Automata. Spectacular graphics, gameplay and story - perfect combo. Highly recommend it for anyone who has a PS4.

Still stuck on Stellaris. I have never had a game rough me up so much and keep me coming back. Not even Imperialism had this much fun combined with handing my head to me.

Ha... I'm just happy I can still play Tekken Tag (PS2) well enough.

I've been playing Fallout Shelter recently, it's a simple enough time sink and enjoyable.
I played "Humanity must perish" it was really short story more than a game. About 2 hours and really enjoyable.
Nothing difficult to do, just read the story and go to the next scene.

Hoping to get to play some Project 1999 this week. It's been neglected for a few months.

@scottalanmiller "PS4, it's made from Doge!"
