There is something to be said for putting down roots. To actually invest your time into a community. I would not want that lifestyle. I love traveling, but I love coming back to where I call home.

My Grandfather got to meet him years ago, I believe it was in the 1970s. They were about the same age. Billy Graham has not been doing well, healthwise, for a while.

Made a huge impact, yes. The type of impact is debatable.
A great Servant? Fuck no. -

A great Servant? Fuck no.Starting hospitals in impoverished countries that accept people of all faiths, running orphanages, helping in refugee camps, helping subsistence farmers learn how to start growing enough food to actually start making income, rescuing children and women from the sex slave industry, just to name a few things. That isn't being a servant at all. Of course, people will hear a religious message through these but they don't have to convert to take advantage of these ministries. So yes I do believe he was a great servant. Was he perfect, no. But I will most likely say that we will just have to agree to disagree on this.

Amsterdam supermarket opens world's 1st plastic-free aisle

@tim_g This is good. I hate plastic containers(all, but especially for food) and avoid them when possible. Sometimes though when i go to the butcher shop and ask for no plastic the clerk refuses to give me stuff wrapped just in paper and will always wrap in a plastic bag then in butcher paper.
Luckily though i live in an area where recycling is taken seriously and most plastics with a number can be recycled. And plant based plastics that are biodegradable are a thing now for food containers, which is great. -

Much of it is still coated in the same crap that makes plastic so bad! For example, common kitchen papertowels, napkins, paper plates, etc...
