Ozark, Missouri: Man Sues Restaurant Known for Throwing Dinner Rolls After Being Hit by Bread

Troy Tucker on Tuesday filed a lawsuit against Lambert's Cafe, whose motto is “Home of Throwed Rolls,” for injuries he says he suffered after being hit by a roll during a September 2014 visit.

"Throwed" rolls.... and the litigious, indignant residents of Ozark they attack. Next time on news of the woefully stupid.

Surprised it has never happened before (the lawsuit). I hope the judge throws it out

They will probably lose some dough over this.

Maybe it will be throwed back in the face of the man who is suing the restaurant... The judge should use something harder than a dinner roll... He should use the "rolls" from my highschool... you could knock people out with them things.

He didn't mean to hit the guy but he had butter fingers and it slipped.

**The following is my spleen vent / rant - you've been warned. I spent 15 minutes sitting in my car yelling at the radio and returned to write the following.
                              **
The local talk radio station here in Victoria just played a full 15min clip of "Dr" Barrie Trower spouting off about the dangers of WiFi radiation. I believe this is the clip they played, though as a disclaimer I could not listen to it again without having my gorge rise.

                              Youtube Video

Here's the email I sent in to the host:

                              Hello Mr Jessop,

I am incredibly surprised and disappointed that you gave this nut job any airtime – with even some cursory research you would see his claims have been debunked from coast to coast.

Should you consider his claims to have any merit I would ask you to try an experiment at home for yourself. Purchase a roast and place it in the microwave on high for 5 minutes. Remove it from the microwave and cut it in half. You will observe that microwaves (AKA non-ionizing radiation around 2.4ghz, AKA wifi, AKA millimetre frequencies, AKA EHF, etc) does not penetrate through the whole roast - it acts upon the first water molecules it encounters, cooking it from the outside inward. Now imagine someone turned a “microwave weapon” on you – how do you think it would affect your body? Is it reasonable to think that this would affect your internal organs before your skin?

In regards to the "microwave radiation weapons" he mentions, they are indeed real! They do work quite nicely (although I consider them unsafe & very susceptible to abuse) and have been tested by (at minimum) the United States Army. Please see the below link for a brief demonstration. You will notice that no one drops dead, no one's brains explode out their ears and no ladies present have their ovaries 'nuked from the inside out as Barrie Trower would have you believe such a powerful (200,000 watt!!) microwave would do.

                              Youtube Video

If you require any further proof of this man’s quackery, I have linked below to some further reading. I would be much obliged if you would cease to give these blatantly false claims any further air time. An apology for airing his garbage would be fantastic, though I will not hold my breath.

That was yesterday. I was watching clips on the news last night. Or was then a new explosion?

Early this morning is when I saw it on the news. I think it happened during the night in the US making it hard to figure out which day it was. I did see something about China discussing something for "24 hours" which had already past so likely over a day ago.
