This sounds like the start of a Wizard Dueling organization.
The first rule of Wizard Dueling Club is make sure you're in Canada, so everything is above board.

So Comcast calls me yesterday and says they are offering me a new improved service for the same price and I asked why they are offering this. They said because I'm a loyal customer. I then asked why they think I'm loyal when I've had my service for a month and am contractless. They stumbled to answer. I asked them if this had anything to do with fios coming into the area and they said no. I said I'm going with fios.

My great irony: I've had zero issues with Comcast residential service. Comcast Business on there other hand is the definition of evil.
