Upgrading to Fedora 34

It was in 33 also if you did a clean install.

That's true.
I usually do my updates with
dnf upgrade
followed by rebooting from BASH. That method never seems to trigger the aforementioned screen. -

Ah I haven't used it in a while. I just saw it mentioned the other day.
