So I've had a sit and stand desk for two weeks now and have started to think about an anti-fatigue mat. What have you tried and what do you like? Is it worth the extra spend for something like this:
I'd feel like you're giving my feet toys to play with while my hands and head are trying to work.
That's the point, so your feet don't get tired.

Helps to keep the ankle stretched as well. Could tighten up otherwise.

When I was working in manufacturing they had rubber mats all over the place. It's amazing how fatigued and sore your legs get after 10 hours a day 6 days a week walking/working on concrete.

Oh yeah, on factory floors we always had those. Or when working the hotel desks. But those are super hard floors, too.

I just ordered toys for my feet. We'll see if I can stay on task at work. They actually named the different bumps on the thing. It was probably the marketing department's finest hour when they decided to call the ramp on the back the "power wedge".

Or that I would trip multiple times a day getting to my desk. I have the soft rubber mat type, about 3/4" thickness but no lips or bumps like this picture.
-
I rock the cold hard ground below my feet.
60/40 stand/sit mix
I see the value in the antifatigue things but honestly I trip over the bastarding things so often that I hurled the last one out of my office into the bin.
-
I would very much like to try a treadmill desk.

You trip over a mat just sitting there, but you want a mat on rollers... good luck with that.
I actually have a keyboard tray on my recumbent bike.

Do you guys love your sit/stand desks? Which brand did you end up going with?
I've been seriously looking at them lately as I've been having some nerve issues and the more I stand the less I hurt.
-
I've only had one for a couple weeks. I've been thinking about it a long time, and built my desk for it when I built my new office. When my chiropractor told me I needed it, I ordered it from Amazon an hour later.
I got this one:
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Workstation-Ergonomic-Adjustable-DESK-V102E/dp/B071KGDGNK/
It was $350 on monoprice and this seems to be the same thing. I'll take a picture of my set up once I have a chance to clean off my desk.... (don't hold your breath)

One of the ladies in HR has a Varidesk and she is loving it. Managers that are ordering them are liking them. Other managers thinks they are a gimmick and won't touch them. So I have a mixed bag.
-
I have noticed that if I'm already on my feet, I'm more likely to move from my desk, which is good. I don't think you could argue that they make you more productive, but you can certainly argue that there are some health benefits for some people.

I have had mine since February and I LOVE IT. I purchased mine from. https://www.autonomous.ai.

Sit / Stand desks are great. I think that they do aid productivity, by making you more active and alert.
-
All this tal of sit/stand desks, I had to move myself out ot the bar where I have kind of a standing desk setup ready to go.
-
I've thought about adding an anti-fatigue mat here, not for IT work but for the bar, since it is basically a working bar.

Foot rails were added to bars to decrease back pain. How old is that anti-fatigue technology?

Foot rails are for sitting at the bar. This is for behind the bar.

10/10 marks for this one. It's to modify an existing desk to be sit or stand.
