It's about the games, not the systems. What games did you have her try?
Well - it's all about the games that WE want to play together, because that's the whole crux of the problem.
and it was years ago.. I don't recall.
Well as there is no game that anyone would want to play on a Wii, that wouldn't work. You'd be lucky if either of you had a game, let alone one that overlaps.
I know at the time we had it.. we were both looking to lose some weight.. I think we actually played it for about a month before it was relegated to mothballs.

Sounds like some of you need to upgrade your lady unit. Some of the newer models have much better compatibility with existing nerdiness.

LOL - oh so many ways to get into trouble with that.

Lady units that feature a left hand ring are not upgradeable - unless you have tons of money.

My wife in darn near an anti-gamer - she really just doesn't like any type of typical video game.
She plays word's with friends, and other scrabble variants, as well as a Sudoku.
An example of something that we loved, is Highrise Heroes. It's meant to be single player, but we played it together and had a blast. It's a word puzzle game.

Hulu can suck it. They refuse to let you watch anything if you use an ad blocker.

I blacklist any website that does that, I don't care what it is.

I have a real hard time being this black and white.
Good websites that are in general just trying to earn enough from advertising to keep themselves afloat - Take ML for example - deserve to get revenue from their money making solution (i.e. ads in most cases).
It's when sites go way over board and have all kinds of pop ups and inline ads, etc.. those sites should die a bloody death!.

Fair enough, but take Hulu as an example. Their paid tier costs more than Netflix, and they still show you ads. Whole bunch of NO to that.
I really only unblock pages when the ad blocker breaks something on the page. ML is the only site I've ever whitelisted.

Any public/free website that forces you to view something you don't want to see gets blacklisted, I don't care how "nice" the forced content is. Similar to cable TV, but in that case you're already paying for it and still get stuck with WAY too many forced ads.
