Linux on a Stick

Eh - Power from the TVs USB port may not be enough... I got a 'warning' from my Amazon FIRE Stick about low power yesterday. But agreed,.. simple - go with a rPi. Using NOOBS you can multi boot it,.. if needed as well.
-
Yeah have been going towards a RasPi but wanted to see if you lot had any experience with these "stick" pc's
-
I think that the Intel stick is probably your best bet.

Yeah, same here. HDMI sticks are normally powered externally via a USB adapter.

The Intel compute sticks have had not great reviews when I last researched them. Might want to do a bit of checking.
-
You're not trying to run a desktop here, and do work, you're simply displaying 4 webpages - assuming there isn't a ton of javascript in those pages, an Intel stick should do great.
As for power, you already have to supply power to the TV, so you just need two sockets instead of one for power. Compute Stick with whatever OS you want on it should be fine.
