So because of THAT doing some kind of potential replication on the backend we need to look for running VM's elsewhere first.

Yeah he has failover setup - well, his predecessor did. He saw log entries or something that showed if failed earlier

Why not just use the vSphere web client?
Sure he might have to do a https://IP address:9443/vsphere-client to get there.

Hit what you think it might be on 443, you should be greeted with the ESXi landing page.

In that case do the webex with John - NOW he can look through you system and help yo ufind the IPs of that server and make sure it's not running over there.
assuming it's part of this cluster
