Yeah, thanks. And haha, you're funny. I'll be happy just to get to Spiceworld this year...
That bad, huh?
Well, you made it through today. So that's a start

Considering I worked all weekend, it doesn't really feel like Monday.

Well hoping your weekend work makes your week easier @Dashrender!

If my network issue goes away, I'll be happy. I wouldn't say it will make things easier, but might make them have fewer complaints

Back from a suprise vacation and (finally) all caught up on emails. Now back to my list of things to do...
-
I'm back in America (for the moment.)
-
Welcome home? erm... Back. Welcome back.
-
Welcome back.

Sent home from work for a BS reason that everyone I work with knows is BS. Still getting paid for a full day and going to an on-site here soon.

What happened to @Aaron-Studer?
All his stuff is showing up as Guest and accessing his profile gives an error. Has his account been nuked by accident or has he hit the big red button on the way out?

Don't know. His account was there half an hour ago, I saw it listed. I know that Hubtech deleted his account just a little bit ago.

@scottalanmiller awwww, I liked hubtech too.

Odd that it is the people who really were responsible for the community. Aaron Studer spent a year campaigning to get an alternative to Spiceworks because he wanted a place to go other than there and Hubtech was one of the "day zero" founders who helped to organize the community. I supposed those that are most likely to bail on where they were are the ones most likely to.... well, bail on where they were.
-
Is there some kind of mass exodus coming?
-
Well those things come in waves. What is really bizarre, though, is account deletion. That means abandoning existing content and control. I've seen newbies that don't really grok social media do that in Facebook and Spiceworks, it's a very bizarre reaction. Leaving and not posting anymore is one thing, that's common and sensible. But deleting an account is weird. I'm not sure what affect it is expected to have. But it just means that there is a loss of control. They can no longer associate with their own posts.
-
I am not aware of any association between them. But I wouldn't necessarily know if they were best friends.
