we have to have a "managed firewall" - whatever that means, in place to be PCI Compliant- apparently.so, Im starting a new thread.

I personally can’t wait for them. I live 24 hours by car from either coast. I live 10 hours by car from my mom. It would be awesome to hope in the car after work Friday and just let the car drive all night while I sleep.

I think they have their place but real world usability is a while away.

I think that they are one of the most important things in the coming decades. Few things are as costly and dangerous as drivers.

I do understand and agree with this - I think the biggest hurdle will be getting people to 'give up' this privilege that so many call a right. Plus a self driving mode over ride when outside of a population center should be an option - think country driving.
Cars like those in Demolition Man are what I envision - the steering wheel can shrink and recess into the dash some to be out of the way when in auto drive mode, etc.
