Doing some notes ready for a "Hardware Refresh" meeting. Had several quotes/proposals just getting them written down ready to discuss each.

they have me working Sunday from 11am - 8 or 9 PM - since I'm hourly, it's all overtime as today I go into over time.
will it be worth it?
I'll let you know in 2 weeks. Why does two weeks matter? You can already figure out what the extra time is worth to you.
Pay period?
yes.
and if I did the math right then it's really not much .
LOL - I guess I'm not sure what you are expecting? You know how much you get paid. Assuming $15/hr, you are getting double time for 9 or so hours = $30 * 9 = $270 - taxes = around $200
Considering a normal take home at $15/hr, that's a pretty nice bump, right around 25%

I have a vague memory of us not liking that solution but I can't remember why
-
ready for my
2 days off1 day off and an evening. -
Just finished helping another department with an interview.
I think they need to add, "Candidate must be able to talk at least 20 words per minute".
I almost fell asleep listening to this person. -
Been a long, busy day. Went well, just super busy.
-
Everquest. Writing calculus tutorial. Music. Sake.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Having some coffee before heading to the pool.
-
Doing some Ubuntu VDI installs. And just grabbed the 19.10 Server ISO. Only around 883MB!
-
I just realized, because someone sent me the screenshot a few days ago of my Spiceworks activity to show how active I had been and how I still had twice as many posts all time as the second highest person, even after having been banned for almost two years and having been split between two communities (and more) for three years prior to that...
I am now just 340 posts short on ML of having the same number that I have on SW! That's kind of an epic moment. Five years of posting on ML to match nine years of posting on SW for me.
(Of course, on SW I only had one account but on ML I contribute to thinkgs like MLNews, so I'm actually about 5-10K posts higher on ML than on SW, but that's not the same.)
-
On coffee number two.
-
Deploying some new code to staging.
-
Making something to eat again.
-
Going to take the kids to the pool in two hours.
-
Looking at purchasing a OnePlus 7T to replace my current Nexus 6P. Really like the specs on it, and the price is right around what I want to spend.

Nice, those look great. I've been considering one, too.
