Learned something new with ssh.
ssh -t hostname 'sudo reboot'
Using option
-t
makes it possible for me to get a prompt to enter my password when using thesudo
command. Without-t
, you end up getting this:sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified

I have a meeting in the middle of the afternoon at a bar inside the Dallas Zoo.
Interesting. Watching the giraffes while having a beer?
I knew it!

Working on a DC/DC converter project.. Have several half dead AA and 9v batteries here from kids games and xBox / Wii controllers... so,.. Now I can take 8 AA (x2) or 3 9v batteries and boost to 12v - which I can then use to charge my radio or use any AUTO USB charger to charge something...
I've decided that it's time to down size the number of PCs around here... So ,... Starting prep work on two desktops and a laptop for donation / sale. I'll likely "T n L" (toast and load) with a version of Linux.. whole setups are going. Will then have to spec out a newer desktop with Dual (at least) monitors...
I tell ya... working in some of theses PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) it's insane at the number of monitors or TVs they have up. Up to 6 Monitors per position, and then a half dozen around the office for Cameras, Weather, Alerts, etc... Can't imagine the amount of optical radiation they are exposed to..
Oh - yea,.. this is close...

Wow, dealing with two keyboards and mouse with those monitors can be confusing if your're not use to it.

Yes,.. the site nearest me is 'nice' in that they have only four monitors,.. the keyboard/mouse is on an KVM Auto switcher. Drag it across and it (audibly) switches.. so better. Depends on the site and the hardware integration.

One keyboard over another is always awful.

Toon the kids to target and Walmart to force them to see toys and games outside their current knowledge in order to make Christmas lists for the grandparents.

The problem is that they have no big experience with other things. Their circle of friends are stable. They ask for things and get them, within reason, all year long.

Same problem here. They have nothing to really ask for at Christmas.

They spent the most time in the board game section, so that is better than crap toys and such.
Ha them bring their phones and take pictures.

We did the same thing at Michael's recently. Liesl ended up picking out all kinds of MC2 STEM educational activities that she wanted. And Ciana picked out canvases, paints, brushes, and that sort of thing.
