I hate slow days, they make it seem like time itself is standing still.
But then it will go from 0 to 60.

@dustinb3403 - I wish I could have a slow day. My whole life is a blur.

Mine is a blur off the clock. On the clock, it seems like you can watch the second hand move. Tick....................................................................................Tock..........

Just got a "FYI " email: our command center (our remote access tool we use) has pushed out older versions, without telling us. So about 50% of our sites are offline, the link we got downloads an older version ( From 2015...) that they have already phased out with new ones. . .

Watching an episode of Criminal minds on my Lunch Break- Time really stops when you are bored.
Today and yesterday, I could have watched 7 hours of Criminal Minds and nobody would have noticed, lol.
My gf processes mortgage loans, she watches TV all day and still does 3-4x as many loans as everyone else.

WE are now using a 3rd Party to connect into these sites . . . .

What? I can't hear you. I've been sitting in a server closet called the IT office today.

Me: No we cant see your site online. . .
Customer: But we have internet.
me:Yes I know you have internet. but you are still running Windows XP, and Windows XP doesnt support net frame work 4.2 or higher which is what is needed to run the Command Center Agent (our Remote desktop software) .
customer: what am I paying you for then ? arent you guys supposed to notify me.??
Me: Yeah, and we did.. multiple times actually . however we don't upgrade the OS for free ( not my policy).
Customer: What am I paying all this money for then?
Me: For me to tell you you need to upgrade your OS, and for us to fix your many issues you've had . Everything is well documented and what you are paying for compared to what you get is actually really fair based on your call loads.
Customer: Can I speak to someone else?
Me: they will tell you the same thing... but sure, here's My Boss.
Im ready for tequila.

Having Veeam Agent for Linux (Free) issues backing up to a SMB share on a NAS
Well from a Debian9 (Unifi Controller) and a few Fedora28 machines.
Only one that has worked 1st time is a CentOS7 VM that has Zabbix on** Debian sorted needed the Linux-Headers
Found out why Fedora not working:-
Unfortunately the current version (2.0.1.665) supports Fedora only up to version 4.16.
**Edit - Quick search of the Veeam Forum and found this:-

Maybe BECAUSE she watched TV every day.
I couldn't do that, I need silence, total silence, to work. But for a lot of people, having a moderate distraction allows them to focus more. Office environments that force silence, chatter, interruptions or whatever they enforce cater to just one niche of how any given person works, so most people lose productivity simply by not fitting into the enforced niche of whatever office environment.

I can confirm that when I have moderate distraction ; such as music, and talking with the other people in the office, I am much more productive with my time and get things done more efficently: even when I work from home every so often, I will have the TV on as back ground noise. . .
