What Are You Doing Right Now

@nadnerb Hey g'day. It's purely for backups, no streaming or sharing req'd. I'll need at least enough space for 3 x 600GB full image backups then about 200GB for a mix of diffs. It'll be backing up 1 server & 2 PCs. Pretty much just for rebuilding from images should any machine die.

Writing a SOW, fun.

Ubuntu Server 18.04 installer is weird and it doesn't even give a choice to use LVM.

Well that sucks, and is quite unexpected.

Ok, it looks we have to use the traditional installer found in the alternative downloads.

It's been quite a busy day. I'm tired.
Just when you are in the middle of something (blank screen )
sigh,.. I so tire of this random unexplainable system reboot caused by windows... ..
FTFY
Not Windows... as it occurs in both Windows, Fedora/Korora/Linux Mint, USB Bootable device... It's hardware related.
Laptop or Desktop?
If it's a laptop, are the fans moving enough hot air out?

No - it's likely the PSU or MOBO - of which I can curently replace neither.

What's preventing you from replacing them? Cash flow?
My money is on the PSU, I think.
