What Are You Doing Right Now

I'm still reeling from the amazing show I saw last night... Mastodon, as usual, were super tight and awesome. Then Primus came out, played a half set of older tunes, then quickly put on costumes and came back onto the stage and played their new album in its entirety, complete with perfectly coordinated visuals (it's a concept album based on a kid's book). Still trying to pick my jaw up off the ground... if they are going to play in your town, I highly recommend seeing this tour.

Sounds like fun.

Does anyone have a trick to make FreePBX re-register the voip.ms SIP trunks after an internet outage restores? A cut fiber caused an outage for a few hours yesterday eve. When it was restored, I had to manually get them to register by re-booting the system. I probably could have just disabled and then enabled the trunks for the same result. Seems like it should do this "automagically"....
for chan_sip set registerattempts=0. It will force Asterisk to attempt to re-register until it can (the default is 10 tries)
for chan_pjsip you should set max_retries=0 (default is 10 as well). -

Except that
registerattempts
is set to 0 by default on FreePBX 13 and 14. Possibly @brandon220 has something set odd.
Note this is not on the trunk configuration, it is a global chan_sip setting inSettings -> Asterisk SIP Settings -> Chan SIP Settings

This one is set to 10 by default and is found in the advanced settings of every PJSIP trunk that you use.

@jaredbusch Yeah that sucks. I hate it when my wife and two sons go places alone because I have to work. I miss them very much when they leave.
-
@jaredbusch I did not change anything in the registration settings. I'll check it out and report back. This makes sense now why it did not re-register.

Been out gardening a little. Watching the kids, which means making food a lot.

Just had a call of a POS in a loop of restarting due to time and date reset to 2002, in january. at 404 am....
Restarted while doing what we call a "refresh" and caused the Terminal to freak out, and change all of this information.
Reset everything and fixed the problem for him.. now to look into why a little bit more..
I know its not its own thread, but any ideas?edit: He just called back and said one of the Wait staff unplugged the power cord by accident and plugged it back in, which caused this to happen.

That's sad.
Waking up might be sad, but you get to look back fondly on the nap that happened.

Worked all morning and got tired.
I was up before 4am to get the family to the airport. Speaking of, their connecting flight is almost halfway done.
