@minion-queen That sounds nice

Not enough coffee for the morning yet.... Ugh.
Sadly though, this is the last full day here. I really hope I can skip down the road by 9am tomorrow for ball games tomorrow night.
Just a 6-7 hour drive, then 2 hours mowing before yet more rain on Saturday...

Mow after the rain? Or barring that, mow another day?

Working from Starbucks today. Internet lines being fixed (hopefully the right way this time) at my house today. And I have a Conference to attend as a vendor this afternoon as well.

Curious what MLers pay for rent/mortgage per month.
My rent for 800sq ft apartment is now 1300/month.
Id buy a house but house prices avg 750k here now unless i want to spend 3 hours a day commuting.I own a 3/2 split level, 1400 sq ft, $750/month. Much longer commute, but it's a great house.
I don't remember the square footage, but I was paying $1k/month for a 1 bedroom apartment (it was really nice, but that's about the average for a 1 br).
Home prices in my area - around $150-200k for 3-4 bedrooms. Substantially higher in the area around the office (couldn't find anything under $400k)

Oh man, after yesterday's posts, just wait, you're going to get it!

@scottalanmiller
What is the point of using powershell to do something? Cant do a GD thing without being in admin mode. Why even have a nonprivileged mode?
Everytime i try to use it, even for simple things, i have to close my current session and reopen as administrator. So annoying. Where is sudo equivalent? Ive seen these fake sudo functions people make for powershell. MS has had 15 years to do this correctly, and has done not a single bleeping thing about it. -

Except, when I'm in BASH on Linux, I can go all down without needing those permissions. PS just isn't used for much yet, but in theory it could be. On Linux I actually work in the shell all day, so needing su or sudo isn't very common because I'm doing normal tasks, not admin ones, most of the time.
The issue is on Windows, PS is used almost exclusively to manage the OS rather than to actually do tasks, hence the weird issue that UAC is constantly needed.

Just always run as admin.

Just installed powershell 6. run it, try to update the help files. Just LOL.

On Linux, I can use
sudo pwsh
to have admin privileges when using PowerShell.# Admin Privileges sudo pwsh # Non-Admin Privileges pwsh

Yeah, a little silly that it is actually easier to use on Linux, in that sense.

@jaredbusch Is that considered slow? 40 minutes for 26 miles would be best traffic since the 1990s here.
