How did an NFR license even get acquired?
Before my time. Original Altigen server was sold with XP pro license, and was eventually upgraded to Windows 7 with that NFR license.
So basically, the product was never licensed at all and has been pirated since day one

Doing something... interesting. I just installed Solus to a 32GB flash drive. Will see how well it works.

Solus is pretty awesome.
It runs respectably so far. It has an odd freeze here and there, but that's because the flash drive is USB 2.0. It just installed drivers for the Wifi on my Mac without needing internet, lol. Let's see if they work.
