Don't even do that. Make the SLA two days plus computer delivery time!

I try to not show my frustration to those guys. I come here for help a heck of a lot more than I come here to give it. I'm not going to sit on my throne like I'm king when I can finally do something right.

Sometimes our workloads can change somewhat dramatically from week to week, so we must be prepared for some quick hires, even if they come from a temp agency. If they do come from a temp agency, then they are closely monitored.

LOL you might be experiencing what is called Monweek. These happen from time to time where against all odds your week is simply full of Mondays. The nice thing about these weeks is that when you hit the weekend it feels that much better.

Yep, that's so needed. A failure to plan is a plan to fail. It helps when you have users that actually help with the planning!

These guys actually have a clue and are all set to hook up our EdgeRouter and everything for us. I'm very happy with this crew. Very on top of things and fixing that beeping issue people have been hearing in the house for ages.

We got 30 something tickets yesterday morning before 10am for new user accounts that had to be ready by today.
A couple of weeks ago we had someone walk into the IT department and say, this is our new hire... do you have a laptop for him? We all looked at each other blankly as no one ever told us that there was a new hire starting that day.
the only way to mke that better is for them to have walked it and said,.. he's been here a week,.. do you have his Creds and Laptop?...
