Spiceworks updated their app. You can finally quote the post you are replying to.
Spiceworks updated something that wasn't marketing related? WHaaaat?
Their text editor is still broken (has been for months) where it won't catch carriage returns. . .
You have to hold CTRL while hitting Shift. For some reason, they like walls of uninterrupted text.

Not broken. They are intentionally stripped.
So if you want to start a new paragraph they intentionally strip that carriage return, why?
You can start a new paragraph. they only strip the extra ones.
Yeah, it's a new paragraph but without a space between it and the one preceding it.

So instead of any other forum, you now have to press CTRL SHIFT ENTER to put in a carriage return . . . annoying. . . (much like the content on that site. . )

You can start a new paragraph. they only strip the extra ones.
That's the issue though, I can't just hit "enter" as was possible before, now I either need to do "shift enter" or press "enter" twice.
Use a different browser? I never have that issue.
FF and Chrome both do it. I posted about it on SW and apparently everyone just expects that you use Ctrl-Shift to be able to post.

Stressful day. Old roommates decided to move the Internet and power instead of starting new service. So we are rapidly trying to get things moved over so that we continue to have service. ARgh.

Yeah, but they were covering them as part of the deal in living here and didn't move out with any real warning. We knew they were "thinking" of moving out, but even on Saturday afternoon we didn't know for sure if they were leaving or not.
So zero warning. And instead of moving existing service over to our names, they switched the existing accounts to their new address, so it is a break in service instead of a change of billing like we were expecting.

The worst part of that is that you have to establish "new" service and the power company wants to see something with your name attached to the address. This usually necessitates a visit while carrying a phone or credit card bill.

So far no one has asked for that since I'm the home owner. Pheww

Oh wow - Not fun there. IF you and @Dominica were to decide to have renters again,.. might add a clause about a 30 day notice or penalty
