We just signed the paperwork with our realtor, the house is definitely going on the market now.
best of luck - hope it sells quickly and for the price you want.

Thanks. After nine years of holding on to it, we are so anxious to see it go.

I literally just had to explain to our receptionist that "enter your credentials" in an RDP session means "enter your user name and password". I then had to explain what a user name and password are. I need 5 drinks. And a new receptionist that has something a little higher than mid-double digit IQ.
Is it something you can publish as an 'app' and she not see it? We had to do that for SAP.. That way they don't see two desktops and two outlooks and yada...
-
@gjacobse nope, her RDP shortcut had credentials for the old system saved apparently. I trained her on how to log into the new system when it was deployed, but that was over a month ago, so obviously remembering that training isn't gonna happen.

yea - some times we have to clear the CredManager for that reason.

The NY house, just unloading it after nine years of paying for a place we've never really gotten to live in.

@EddieJennings check out Snom too
Don't waste your time with Snom. quality, sound, and price are fine, but the lack of buttons is a hard fail.

Maybe this will become a thing: https://issues.freepbx.org/browse/FREEPBX-12294
Why? Just close port 80. That is what I do.

It's expected that Dominica would know more. That YOU know who knows more shows that you probably should be on the same list.

Ok. N00b question, but since there's easy confusion with terms, a phone feature that says "12 VoIP accounts" should mean the phone can be configured to register 12 unique extensions, correct? In Yealink's product video the T42G "supports 3 SIP accounts." The video was made in 2013, so perhaps his information is out of date, or am I misunderstanding SIP account vs VoIP account?
Context: Datasheet for Yealink T42G.
It means that the PHONE can connect to three different PBXs or whatever has a SIP trunk.
Ah, I see. Then between three potential PBX connections, up to 12 extensions can be registered, correct?
No, you are not correct. An extension is a line in these terms.

Simplify the terms because @EddieJennings has no idea what he is saying.
It means the phone can hold 3 SIP accounts. Period. A SIP account is a SIP account, there is nothing else.
The difference between a SIP Trunk and a SIP Extension is all in the signaling capabilities of the devices. Both are still SIP accounts. SIP is SIP.
