Installed Veeam Backup utility for Linux on a couple of my boxes! Backups appear successful... Let's see if I can restore stuff!
Edit: They appear to only have full images or file-level backups.... If you leave the Full-Backups to run, they run as incrementals.

Trying to figure out how to add media to my Plex server running CentOS 7. It'd be great if I could map a linux file share to my windows 10 desktop and just drop stuff into it. How would I go about doing that? Samba? If so, how?
-
@wirestyle22 yes samba would be the way.
Tomorrow we could work on creating a guide on how to create samba shares, both authenticated and completely anonymous

Getting in the car and heading to St Louis for meetings.

Morning everyone, just updated XO to 5.1.2 and drinking some coffee.
Checking for system errors on the systems... lol
-
Just got to change a battery in my raid controller... First time ever having to do that, lol. This one was an easy one to do... Dell R810, and the battery was mounted on the side of the case without me having to take anything other than the top cover off.

Love the toolbar tips now! (I missed those.)

Looks good but one of my hates with all suppliers no indication of a RRP so guessing over £100

From the looks of it they are still in development. My guess is that it will be several times more then 100 Pounds.

I missed yesterday and now there are thousands of threads to read. Having some coffee and trying to get caught up (meaning... avoiding working.)
-
Ugh. Today is rough.

Everything okay? Like problems rough, or just rough day of work?

@StrongBad We were having a meeting that I prepared for long in advance. Empirical data sets. Of course today is when the state comes in to survey.

Also need to figure out why my domain isn't syncing properly with hosted exchange. Been trying to figure it out for awhile but I don't see anything that gives it away in the logs.

It may be the hosted exchange.

How do I prove it though? I've been managing my own in-house exchange servers until now.

Hosted Exchange or hosted Exchange? One is Office 365 and MS should support you (or your partner would) the other, you are on your own.

That's the great thing about Office 365, it's all Microsoft so no need to show who has the problem, it's all one vendor. Hosted Exchange support team should be able to determine where the issue is. MS support is not the best, but they are there for this stuff.

It's not O365 though sadly. Although I did ask for pricing on it and am going to move forward with it provided they give me the approval. Need to fix this for the time being though.
