I'm saving us so much money it's honestly crazy (with help from ML of course).
It's amazing the amount of money ML saves people. At least me.
- Free print management (Ton of money saved)
- Free O365 (non-profit)
- OwnCloud/ODFB Replacing file Server (unsure of which yet) No refresh for that server = money saved
- Replacing Expensive Sonicwalls with Edgerouters + Squid for content filtering
- Replacing ridiculously expensive, overkill machines in client computer labs with Chromeboxes. Instead of $1k per pc it'll be $150.
- Hosted Blackbaud (non-profit financial software) -- No refresh on that server
The list goes on.
You can also do your website for free if you haven't done so.

I'm waiting for Windows Update on a VM, while I wish I could take a quick nap, I'm exhausted today.

FTFY, dumb sounds like you can't learn it.

Is there anything much more annoying than an uninstaller that insists on opening a f@cking website in an IE window??? Just let me uninstall the gotdamn program already!!!! Looking at you , Redgate.
-
@RojoLoco One that ask if you're certain you want to uninstall the program, and then opens a website in IE, requesting you to fill out a survey about why you're uninstalling the software....

Is it Java or Flash?

Semantics!
"Lazy" would probably be the most accurate word. Or "time-limited", were I to spin it more flatteringly. But yeah. Greylog is much more WYSIWIG, which satisfies all of the above criteria.

SQL Compare. And the bundle installs like 8 things, which all have separate installers. PITA supreme.

Has anyone in the U.S. seen a really great conference room table with good cable management?

Such a thing does not exist. Once you get everyone sitting down and all the video cables, laptop chargers and ethernet comes out it's just a big pile of spaghetti

We just banned laptops at meetings except for the note keeper. She types up the meetings and also runs a mic to record them.
Pen & paper, OCR scan for anyone who cares.

Hang on, let me grab a pic of our table. It has a compartment that closes to hide the spaghetti inside, so it looks good (mess inside, but that's your job to deal with it...). Stand by.

So I'm bashing my head against the wall trying to figure out why some software isn't cooperating with us at work after a server & software upgrade.
