What are you thinking about buying? the $35 one time option or one of the others?
The 35$ one, pretty good for an entry level vps. Especially since that is the cost without any additional maintenance.
-
I pinged CloudatCost, hopefully they can pop in and talk about their products too
-
I'm going to install wordpress on it and just mess around. Been playing on it for a good half our, plenty fast enough for what I want to do.
-
If I'm going to drop $35 on it, I figure I can pretty easily drop $120 for the developer one..
it's a 'lifetime' option.. seems kinda no brainer to me.
-
Pay once? That's awesome.

If I had $120 right now to drop on it I would... budget is a bit tight as is right now.

Says $140 for developer 3 is that CAD or USD?

Is the difference that much? wow, I guess it does, $1 USD = $1.25 CAD today.
-
I would assume USD.

Found this review from early 2014.

The comments have people complaining about long term outage and poor support response times.

@JaredBusch
Hi Jared,
This is true, there are many comments online talking about cloudatcost. When we launched the product in 2013, we weren't expecting the growth that we had. In short, our demaind increased our supply, causing quite the load on our servers. Having your business grow at rapid speeds is every businesses dream, however, for us it resulted in a lot of growing pains.Last year we released a video talking about this exact issue.
check out the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INVaNT1R_jEWe are still growing and are constantly upgrading our hardware and adding to our support.
If I can help in any way, please let me know.
Thanks,
-
Getting our first CloudatCost servers set up right now.

Awesome! I am hoping to try this out soon!
