Just finished episode 3 of The Mandalorian. Pretty cool so far.
Although, I have to admit that while watching it, I'm waiting for a Dead Pool moment.
As to what took me so long to watch it? I'm currently ignoring the 3rd play through of all the High School Musicals. I really love both of my daughters. Gawd, I need a man cave. -

This should not be a surprise, but stupid people are stupid.
It is 100% not possible not to know if you owe money and have not been paying it.

This is all fine and good - but he's trading one thing - TIME - for money. He has to spend the time tending the garden, tending the chickens, etc. So sure, he doesn't have as much dependence upon "the system," But it's still likely that he will have major dependencies on the system - like chicken feed. Of course, sure he could plant his own crop, etc, etc, etc... but my point still stands - short of going completely off grid and trying to make his own Biosphere, he's still likely to be dependent upon some fairly major things from "the system".
