@WrCombs yeah I was literally looking it up as I responded.

It might be worth putting it's new name there instead of the old one.

I know this is annoying getting all this feedback, but here a few things that jump out at me

        • Under Skills - rearrange them to be in order of importance to you in finding the next job
        • Drop Virtualbox , this is only something you would use on a personal level never really on a business / server level
        • Make Windows Server bullet point. If you want to be Windows Server admin then highlight that and Active Directory as your top skills. I would honestly learn Office 365 so you can add that on there as well. It certainly wouldnt hurt to learn Azure either if you want out of the desktop role
        • Leave Helpdesk but move it towards the bottom. I would change Desktop Support to systems support (which could be desktops and servers and even if you arent doing servers, desktops are still systems 😉 )
        • Talk about network configuration with ubiquiti and Unifi equipment. You dont have to list specific products. You can say something like designed networks using Ubuquit and Unifi equipment

Thats just my critique for first section more to come 🙂

@WrCombs I literally just asked Dash for this. Had no idea that there was a thread.

                Just Created it.

Yeah, but you did it like 15 minutes before I asked 🙂

@WrCombs the first steps here are...

                    1. Get this paired down to only what is meaningful.
                    2. Fix all typos, make it clean.
                    3. Identify your gaps.
                    4. Go practice and learn skills to fill the gaps.
                    5. Profit

Yeah definitely points 3 and 4 are huge. You need to understand Office 365, Exchange Online and some other cloud services. Not to mention Linux is completely missing.

Part of the process here is making the resume "too small" without any filler. Then instead of filler, actually fill in the gaps with real experience. This is the process that I did. I let the resume drive my learning and because I focused on what would make my resume look good, it looked great.

You should also be staring at your resume all of the time. Being caught with a typo or formatting issue or something shouldn't happen. Your resume is one of the most important things in your life, you need to be treating it like it is super important. Typos suggest that you aren't paying attention to it and employers pick up on that instantly.
