it is in the Start up folder, was working weeks ago, Just started about Wednesday last week. We've recreated and rebuild the file , when you click on the program to run it in the start up, it runs properly.

System, I believe.

Have you tried a very simple script/bat file?
something that pops a message on the screen? worth checking it's running stuff from the folder.

well, I ran the .bat file that runs the program by clicking on it.
outside of that it wont run . -
Can you create a shortcut to this file and have the user run the program by clicking on it? Or is it starting automatically critically important for the job?
-
Easy fix might be to create a scheduled task to launch the file. You can decide how it will launch, ... at login, even if not logged in, as another user, ...

Well, It's system critical for the point of sale software to run,.
right now we have a .bat on the desktop to run it because it's rebooting into the desktop, but that's a bandaid fix,
every other POS Terminal running windows 10 runs it on start up with no problem . -

I like that Idea.

it blinks like it's trying to run something. then doesnt. -
