Just finished filling my Taxes Not getting much back but I literally doubled my income from a year ago today.
and technically I no longer live below the poverty line ! in my state.
I'm proud of myself.that's good - in fact owing a little isn't a bad thing either - means you got an interest free loan from Uncle Sam.
ah yes, I have yet to actually give taxes back.
Hopefully that doesn't actually happen -

Me too. I purposely take home less per check so I get back more in the spring, because saving money is tough.

Atleast I'm not the only one.
I was just offered to take over payments and refinance my moms car .
With insurance and payments it will be ~ 450 a month..
It'd be tight but I'm sure I could make it work.. Have to figure it out though -

it's very weird! you should get as much back and just put it in savings.. then at the end of the year - you send them a check from those savings - and you got to earn interest on it while you held it.
Then if you still need that end of year (tax time rush) you just move the money from savings into your own checking account and tada - refund fun time.. lol

Stay in a cheap car. Sure it will have problems, but it will cost you less in the long run - and you'll have more money for actually important things - like you kid.

How do you know that? Maintenance can be expensive.

Sure - then dump it and get another cheap car. When you're dancing on the edge - you don't go and get a car payment that will
It'd be tight but I'm sure I could make it work.. Have to figure it out though
That's just being foolish!

All the trees and flowers are blooming, spring is fully here! Even though the pollen sucks, spring makes me happy.
you know what that means? Summer is right around the corner!!
Ugh. Where'd winter go, we barely had one this year. Yes, I'm one of those contrarians that prefers cold weather.
Same here.

I've put more money into this current car then I bought it for.
it still has problems.Regardless, The numbers dont work out for either of us SO I'm sticking with the Car that will likely Die in the next year, hopefully i get the loan paid off for the maintenance it needed.
