I already installed Centos7. . .
Right, but the CentOS guides are older versions of Nextcloud and I believe we are basically focusing on Fedora for the foreseeable future. Doesn't take long to delete a VM and install Fedora. It's like 10 minutes if you include the update process.

I already installed Centos7. . .
Why? CentOS 7 is old and will either require extra steps that defeat the purpose of CentOS to make work, and will still be older and less featureful. Just go directly to Fedora 28.

I actually ran it 3-5 times.
and retyped it
and then retyped it again
and re ran it again,
multiple times
then it finally did something so I thought it had gotten everything. -

It wouldnt let me copy and paste, don't know if i did it wrong.That may be why I don't use PuTTy. Do you have the built-in SSH client available? Try that. I'm never without a Linux machine of some sort to use, so I don't know how different things act on Windows.

I can use the shell they give me on vultr. . . i could download vmware. . .
