Took the day and went fishing. Caught 4 Northern pike, none of keeper size. Got home and made a pepper jack/Roast beef grilled cheese sandwich.

Once you have caught a few keepers, I'll PM you my address so you can send me some fresh pike!

Keepers here need to be 26" or larger. Everything I caught today was 22-24".

We have so many great choices here. Like 5+ just in our little local area.

Eat Street on Old Denton is our top pick here.

Chicago- style deep dish pizza, meat lovers. I normally don't eat pizza with a fork. This required it.

Mmmm.... Savory meat pies. Pepper steak, steak and stout, chicken and bacon. Worth the walk.

Slow cooked country pork ribs in the crockpot with sauerkraut. Sauerkraut is awesome. I love it. It is an often looked over food. It is super high in vitamin C too. If you like corn beef brisket, get a corn beef brisket throw sauerkraut on top of it in a crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours. It is super yummy.0_1526663504839_MVIMG_20180518_120929.jpg

@penguinwrangler do you use store bought or home made sauerkraut? If store bought, what brand(s) do you like best?

@jmoore you know, pasta is way worse for you than spices, onion, garlic, or heat... and salt isn't that bad for you either...

@rojoloco Yeah I agree with you. i like a bit of red pepper with my meals and of course nothing wrong at all with spices, onion, and garlic. That's what I cook with instead of butter or fats like her and her mom does. Drink plenty of water and a little salt does nothing to you in my opinion

@scottalanmiller I have done that Indian style and its pretty good and I don't really like cauliflower. Heat up some mustard oil, cook a little turmeric, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, onions, garlic, and finally cauliflower and your choice of meat all in that mix with a little basmatti rice and that's a fine meal.
