Saddam Hussein was outside of the jurisdiction of the US and doesn't have any kind of due process protected by the Constitution.

As far as the law is concerned, yes.
That's how US law works - or at least is supposed to!
Yep. Regardless of how heinous a crime, I do not operate under the premise of guilty until proven otherwise. My opinion probably isn't popular, but being popular has never been a great concern of mine.

I can easily agree that he is likely guilty of what has been said about him, and well as show me the proof.
At the same time, the timing is suspect and makes me wonder if these claims aren't just about getting paid.

Is = I think there was a story about him admitting it after he acquitted, but I think the story was debunked. If so, then "is" has no answer.
