      I may give this a try tonight and see how it does. Firefox 57 crashes on me on a consistent basis.

              I'm sure that works, but the button in the UI moved from the right side of the URL bar to the left.

                                I can safely say that on My Laptop at home with 2 windows and / 8 tabs per window, Firefox Quantum definitely does not use less RAM than Chrome. It is, however, far more stable than previous releases have been. I'd estimate close to Chrome stability.

                                  I'm liking what I see with Firefox Quantum so far. I don't use it nearly so heavily as Chrome tho, so I can't really compare too well.

                                            My other browsers update on my Linux desktops as well.
