Trying to write a powershell script that will pull the username and computer name of whoever plugs in the USB drive and email it to us, from the USB drive. Username is easy
whoami. Emailing it is easy. Computer name, not so much, so far. Then I have to try to write the batch script that I hope will run when they plug in the USB drive to run the powershell script. -
Need to make some coffee.

You could also do
$env:Usernameand$env:ComputerName. I believe thatwhoamiandhostnameare aliases for those. -
