@danp Wasn't the machine named after Steve's daughter, I'm sure I see that in a documentary.

I had a TI-994A that was my first computer then moved from that to a Zenith/Heathkit 286 as my first PC clone. I still have Microsoft Windows 1.4 on 5.25 Floppy from that machine!

                  Sinclair 1000. Z-80 Early 80's.
                  Then TI_99

Same here,.. only it was a 'custom' in that it had a keyboard from Radio Shack, and my dad had built the box for it,.. the box / case was similar to the Apple IIe in shape... Even had a 300 baud acoustic modem.

I really loved the Sinclair QL I thought it was neat with it's internal tape drive.

I don't remember off the top of my head. I do remember it had two 5.25 floppy drives that you would need to swap in and out for stuff.

Me either. But I remember attending their grand launch back in the day and was awestruck at what I saw at the time.

Either a C64 or an original Apple or Apple II.

You'd know if it was an Apple I, that was wood!

First one I used was I believe Windows 95 at my school when I was in elementary. Couldn't tell you what brand but I seem to think IBM.

First one I owned was an HP Pavilion laptop in 2007. Very sentimental when that thing died on me.

My first personal computer: VTech Precomputer Power Pad

I was obsessed with the BASIC coding program on there.

I was 6 when I was handed down a C64, bought a 286 out of the tradin post when I was 7 using paper route money. At 8 I had a couple 286's and an Apple IIe handed down to me.

I also bought one of those 1980's portable 386sx units where it was like a metal suitcase and the keyboard folded out of the front to reveal a small green screen and two 5.5" floppy drives. I specifically remember dragging it in to a Frisch's Big Boy while my mom wasnt paying attention and setting it up by a power outlet. lol.

Does a Amiga 500 count? Remember having that then upgrading the RAM and having an external Hard drive in a expansion module thing.
Got me interested in 3D animation when one of the magazines released Imagine for free.....loved it.....wish I got more into it now and tired to make a career in it....oh well I'm enjoying IT infrastructure stuff anyway

                                            After that a 486 with Windows 95
