Thanks. I don't really feel like my ass is on the line here... my job is to help get the data, I already told the boss that it's useless. So this feels like a ceremonial gesture to make the customer happy. We will sit on the data for a bit, then the owner or whomever will have to tell the customer they are SOL. I'm fine with all that, no skin of my ass. Doing anything at this point is going above and beyond our SLA. They can be pissed off at their IT department and/or the idiot who clicked the suspicious email.

I'm seeing a few more CPU spikes, but around 10 - 15% memory savings... I just got all my tabs open though, so we'll see what happens.

iPhone 7 was already waterproof I thought. Or was the 7s the first? I know the 7s is. Just cannot recall on the 7.

Yes, last one was 8.2 with epicenter in Chiapas, not so much damage caused even though it did kill 96 people.

So the bosses finally decided that transferring the useless, encrypted, infected files from the customer was a bad idea. They are going to copy the stuff to an external drive and mail it to us. I told the boss that was an exercise in futility, but they're doing it anyway. Small victories, one at a time.
