I received a phone call today from a city worker asking me to teach him how to use the system. When I asked him what he is attempting to use he said "The computer". He does not know how to use a computer. This is required knowledge for any city employee--of course the level of knowledge does vary.
You guys ever need to teach a user from the ground up? Seems like they should be paying for training for this dude.
I taught K12 in a private school that had never seen computers when I put them in. So teachers, administration AND students all with zero computer experience.

I thought they were removing their storage instances? Didn't someone bring that up here before or am I misremembering?
That was @BRRABill saying that as his interpretation of them selling out due to popularity. He asked some random tech through a channel that Vultr says they don't have who said that they might be discontinuing them. When ask, Vultr said they had no employee with that name, that they had no support channel like the one described and said that the items were super popular and not likely to go anywhere. So most likely he reached out to the wrong vendor or something

And? Vultr has that too, but it's not what we are talking about. We are talking about storage instances, not tack on storage.

And? Vultr has that too, but it's not what we are talking about. We are talking about storage instances, not tack on storage.
What's the difference? The storage instances lock you into a specific instance. If you're building on Fedora you have to upgrade every release vs just unattach and reattach your volume.

It's more of a formality, the project was really approved a couple of months ago when we had Windstream sticker shock.
Also, I'm disappointed with my failed SAM summoning. I'll try harder next time.

Still, a formality process to "doing a good job" seems like a bad idea.
