Server 2012 R2 not getting updates
-
I have a couple Server 2012 R2 systems that do not seem to be getting updates.
I find it very hard to believe that there have been no updates.
-
You could try deleting the update history, that way it's just some thinks that no updates have ever been installed.
That'll force the update to go through and look for updates.
I'd look up the process for you but I only have mobile internet access

Looks like it is pretty much every server I am responsible for. No idea wtf is going on.

@JaredBusch or click lasted updated to sort here https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=2012 2017
Nothing wrong with your servers, but kinda spooky...

Didn't Microsoft change their updating scheme to monthly cumulative or something like that? I thought I remember reading something about that a few months back. I haven't really been paying attention lately.

But I did not expect nothing since December.

I can't speak for January, but MS canceled the planned updates for February - The rumor is that MS's update servers had a problem that couldn't be resolved quickly.
Originally MS just postponed the update, then 3 days later they canceled it until March.

It's a venerable and pretty stable release at this point. It might really just have had nothing to have gotten for a while.
-
Looks like there are some 2012 issues addressed in today's updates.
