tags not adding

When I try to add tags to a post I'm creating, the tag appears for a few moments (less than one second) then disappears.
Is this a known problem?

Did you click on the tag? If you just hit enter they disappear. I just noticed that the other day.

I think you can hit space between them also or something like that

you can have multi word tags.
If I save the post, then edit it, I can add tags like normal. i.e. I can hit enter instead of clicking on a tag to make it stick. It also won't save new tags when having this problem.

When I hit space it let me hit enter to save but I was also editing after posting. I couldn't get the trans to save on the original edit.

Tag helper thing not showing up in the tag box for me. i posted this long time ago.
it is the top left corner instead of by the tag entry. so they are there, but you cannot see them. If you hit down arrow it will cycle through them and you can see that.

Tag helper and the @ helper are both having issues.

The tag helper works fine as long as I'm editing the post, just not on original post, this problem started after not the last update, but the one before.
The @ username tags haven't worked mostly since the last update a few days ago.

These all seem to be working again.
Tags and names.

Tagsa do not work on new topic creation.
The helper pops up, but when you select one, it quickly shows and then deletes.
If I subsequently edit a post and add the tags, it works perfectly.

It's account related. Admin accounts can make tags normally. Others have this glitch affecting them.

@scottalanmiller I'm able to add tags, but they do seem buggy when trying to add them. Or with tagging a user in a post.

For me, it works 100% of the time on topic edit. It fails 100% of the time on topic creation.

That's been my experience as well. I always have to go back and edit to get the tags to stay.

Oh, I did not realize that edits were working consistently.
I think I have solved the issue on WHEN this is happening so you can verify yourself. Creating a few million posts this morning likely helped figure this out.
New Topic tags fail every time
- From the Unread page, click create topic.
- Enter subject
- select a category
- enter content
- try and add a tag.
- The tag will add then poof.
New Topic tags work every time
- From the category page, click create topic.
- Enter subject
- Category already seldcted
- enter content
- try and add a tag.
- The tag will add then add and stay
Editing always lets tags add correctly.

Yes, I've been noticing the same thing since you outlined it.
