This morning, been trying to get a free car I got a few days ago to actually start, an '04 Dodge Intrepid, and it's got sooooo many problems...
@nadnerB World of Tanks is pretty cool, and if you like it, but want a little more realism, and a lot more detail, if you're into stuff that's big on immersion and historical accuracy, try out War Thunder. It's free to play as well, and there isn't as much of the pay-to-win thing going on, and it's a little easier to get up higher in the game, because believe me, if you start grinding to get the better tanks, you'll dump THOUSANDS of hours before getting to the higher tiers.
I only ever got up to Tier6 in World of Tanks. The higher level economy without a premium account is just silly. WoT may be free to play, but it is pay to be able to do anything.... with that few garage slots and even more tech trees coming out soon, it's just crazy time. I much prefer Armored Warfare, and haven't tried War Thunder yet.

Printing some CV's off see who we want to interview for a 1st line tech job (finally someone to answer the bloody phone!!)

Yeah, that's why I much prefer Armored Warfare. I mostly plat WoT/WoWS for the history value, which means one or two matches a week at most compared to 2-3 a day in AW.

Pay to win is profitable, but I don't get how it can be profitable. If I were a kid and I sat down to play monopoly and someone said "we can play but you start with $10. You need to give me $20 of your own money to start with $1000" I never would have played. It seems really stupid to me.

Been checking out World of Tanks.
It was recommended to me over the weekend.Looks complicated but fun. No idea what I'm doing yet. I suspect that I'm going to have a lot my tanks broken due to my tendency to CHARGE!!!! and driving around the enemy tanks in circles.
I played for a bit... and got bored with it. it was decent though.

Uhm - in the new(ish) car? wow.

@nadnerB @travisdh1 @scottalanmiller
He was complaining of abdominal pain last night,.. enough that he was walking oddly and such. Called in to the hospital, and had us come in as a precaution this morning - didn't feel it was Super serious as he wasn't presenting with anything other than the pain.
No fever, no redness - today he is 'normal' and the ultrasound was clear. They pushed on his belly pretty good and he didn't scream in pain or anything... You can say I'm 'gun shy', I'm okay with that. ... rather error on the side of caution than wait to long and end up in a more serious problem.

After what he just went through, best to err on the side of caution, yep.

Does Texas have a lemon law? if it's only a week past sale, will the seller do anything? I don't recall if this was a private sale or via 'dealer'...

Don't think that lemon laws apply to used cars from someone's grandpa.

I've fallen behind checking logs, what you always hope is the boringest part of the day.

Seriously wtf.. unless you enjoy that kind of thing, this is almost never a good idea. You can generally find working vehicles for less than it will cost your to fix a free one.
