Any hunting or fishing peeps on here?

I know it might be a little odd that IT people don't live in their parents basement and play Minecraft, Halo, or D&D when not running networks for the free world. Just wondering if anyone on here gets to the outdoors?
I have been hunting since I was 13 years old (28 years total) but the hunting landscape has changed and people are over hunting areas and the deer are not as easily found like they were before. Just bought a new boat in June so during the warm weather we are on the lakes pulling the kids around on the tube or I am searching for that big Bass, Pike or Muskie.

I don't hunt, but I am an avid fisherman.

I'd like to get out more often, but going out with the women is more hassle than it's worth.
(IE I'd want to be out and fishing by sunrise, and we don't leave until noon.....)

I know this too well. If it is just the youngest daughter and we are on the water early. If it's everyone we might as well be planning for a night fish.

I don't even try the morning thing with the whole family. Sometimes I get back before everyone else even wakes up. I would rather fish sunrise to 10am then deal with going in the middle of the day. I have never been a fan of night fishing.

I love to fish, can't sit still enough to hunt, but my brother can, so I usually have venison on hand.

@IRJ Up here in Wisconsin the Walleye get hopping around dusk. I'll be fishing about an hour or so before and an hour or so after.

I hit a 4 point buck with my truck on the weekend. Broke my heart to ruin all the meat and I had to leave it there by law.
Need to allow a special permit for bow hunting in the cities.

The Sunday before Spiceworld was a sad day. I put the boat away for the winter. Sad part of it all is that the weather is still warm enough to go out and get some angling in.

The weather is always warm enough to go out and get your line wet
edit: perhaps not with a boat though

@MattSpeller I know if I didn't put the boat away the weather would be too cold to get it winterized. Murphy's law sucks.
