Weekends are usually slow in general

I see that alot in spiceworks as well. I'm always on these things on the weekend. My mind never stops working on tech. I love to read about other tech things when my work dies down.

The Veeam Linux Endpoint beta is out. I just got the email.

Now that is cool news. Link?

Well I read through the email and they asked that I not share the link or password for the downloads. Don't we have a rep here somewhere? (I don't know who to tag)

Don't share the link or the password.....

          Just share the installer 😉

I have to agree, it's not as if these new ISPs would be allowed to install their own utility poles, give them access to the existing ones.

The poles were installed when the only options where phone and power. Which eventually lead to options lock in.

                      New ISPs should have access.

Americans still putting everything above ground so it can easily be knocked out by storms, drunk drivers, trees, etc? Explains why my power went out at least once a month like it was North Korea or something. I will say this, I have better utility reliance in Russia than anywhere I've ever lived in America.

I would agree it is definitely an antitrust issue, just as Microsoft threatened to delicense companies like Compaq if they installed Netscape.

Went to the AA ball game last night. Lost the game but the fireworks display was pretty awesome.

Managed to dodge falling fireworks on the way home from getting dog last night. One more night of fireworks... I wonder if we're actually going to make an attempt to get out & go see any this year.

Would have gone to the show Saturday, but we were still getting home. Today's mission is to get grocery stuffs and snack food, lol.

Brought my car into a garage today (car service station? Damnit, learn some German: Autowerkstatt) to refill the coolant fluid for the aircon. Motor went off 3 times on the few kilometers back home. Back to the garage: damaged generator. Problem is, it got changed just one year ago...

Some unnamed people were making fun of me for still having a landline. So maybe it is time to change that...

Well, if it's included with a package that makes having a landline cheaper than not having one, why not?
