I went ahead and ordered one this morning. I would like a zero instead, but I can find some use for this until I can get a zero. I have a few projects where a zero's size would be quite useful.
What are you using the zero for?

Are you kidding me with those specs at the same price? God I love Raspi.

@wirestyle22 Family makes the best guinea pigs. That is how I learned to do cabling was doing it at my parents house when I was in highschool.
I figure I can share my plex server with them and they're forced to love me while I work out any kinks with the VPN
Why not do ZeroTier? Then you get cool features like easy mobility and access to all of the networks. But consumer devices are harder to handle (like an Xbox.)
I'm going to
If I don't share media over it I can buy them Roku's for Christmas (Hard to shop for)

@wirestyle22 Cool! I also bought a EdgeRouter Lite for my home.
Checking it out now. Looks interesting. I'm setting up some test sites via ZeroTier. Basically my home, my soon-to-be mother in law, father-in-law and brother in law. Using them as my guinea pigs

@scottalanmiller There are those that grind through fighting games and those who grind through Skyrim (Whilst happily stabbing Draugr)
I don't like grinding wherever it is. I like story.
That's what I really play for. I'm not ashamed to say I'll cheat my way through the grinding bits (for single player games), depending on how grindy it is. I won't do God mode or anything like that, but if I need a bunch of gold to buy stuff, or mana so I don't die every 5 minutes, yea. I'll do that.
I want the next bit of story (and no, it does not detract from the value of the story -- at least to me)!
I'm assuming you aren't a dark souls fan?
Nope, I keep looking at it and realizing that there isn't anything slightly interesting about it for me.
Try Bloodborne if that is the case. It's more story based.

Any Street fighter 5 players on ML? I'm training for my next tournament (missed winter brawl)
Can't do arcade stick fighters. Don't have the twitch for it.
There are a lot of pro players that use pad now. No one judges pad players anymore
I don't have the reflexes to do it. That and I can't get into the story (what little they have) which makes the experience boring to me.
Practically every fighting game with the exception of Blazblue has basically the worst story line ever. I'm not in the game for anything but the tournament scene. I literally sit in the lab (training mode) and attempt to discover new tech, practice combos, and find solutions to problems I encounter. I only just found the character I'm playing yesterday because I tear everything apart so much.
That sounds incredibly boring and not fun at all
I've beaten two EVO finalists in tournament so the preparation for me is a buildup. Everyone competes to realize their potential. It's great
Speaking of insane leaps, do you guys have any source content for SQL best practices?

How long have you been using UBNT?
Routers and APs, over a year now. Maybe two? Switches, just a few months.
Seems like they are a good middle ground for SMBs who need higher level equipment at a lower price

Well, if HP make great switches but terrible APs and Ubiquiti make great APs, maybe their switches aren't so great?
It's a risk, of course, but just because HP has a consistency problem does not suggest that Ubiquiti does. Can't hold HP's failings against UBNT.
We have UBNT switches, APs, and routers and not one issue yet. We've also used Netgear a lot and love them too.

Great option for a home environment or lab. But for business needs. Nope gonna stick with Xbyte. You can get a 3 year Dell Service warranty (4 hour or next day) for onsite service. That makes me sleep better at night
I sleep better at night knowing that if I have a hardware failure I can be backup and running within 15 minutes.
If you only have 1 server, then a warranty doesn't help much (until they can fix it)
This is where your disaster recovery plan takes effect though. Then you have dell service warranty's for the actual repair process.

So would a powershell script that puts everyone and their permissions groups into an excel spreadsheet work? I wrote the below script...
Just provide your domain credentials and give it a minute or so to run.
# This script will export all users of the specified domain, and their group memberships to a CSV file. The usefulness of this tool is expressed when # setting up new hire employees or reviewing domain membership permissions. # It's not advisable to store the user credentials required to run this script as they can be decrypted. This script is not designed to save these credentials but could be modified to do so. # Use of this script implies that you understand what it does, and will do to with regards to your Active Directory installation members and group memberships. # As designed there are no changes made to your installation, the script simply generates a report of members, and their group memberships. # Any changes to this script are the responsibility of the person/organization which made said changes. # We cannot be held responsible for your misuse or misunderstanding of this script as it was designed. # # # # # Imports Active Directory information Import-Module Activedirectory $credentials = Get-Credential # Prompts for user credentials default user is β β, enter an administrator account in the form of βdomain-name\administrator-accountβ Get-ADUser -Credential $credentials -Filter * -Properties DisplayName,EmailAddress, memberof,DistinguishedName,Enabled | % { New-Object PSObject -Property @{ UserName = $_.DisplayName EmailAddress = $_.EmailAddress DistinguishedName = $_.DistinguishedName Enabled = $_.Enabled # Deliminates the document for easy copy and paste using ";" as the delimiter. Incredibly useful for Copy & Paste of group memberships to new hire employees. Groups = ($_.memberof | Get-ADGroup | Select -ExpandProperty Name) -join ";" } # The export path is variable change to desired location on domain controller or end user computer. } | Select UserName,EmailAddress,@{l='OU';e={$_.DistinguishedName.split(',')[1].split('=')[1]}},Groups,Enabled | Sort-Object Username | Export-Csv $ENV:UserProfile\Documents\User-Permissions.csv βNTINot really what I am looking for. All users will receive new 'members' as I do not plan on using the same member groups. I just want to know what will it looks like.
Anyway, I will run the script after hours, and see if it can point me to the right direction.
Have you considered just created something in prezi or powerpoint that is a visual representation of what you will do? It doesn't sound like you need real data to me. They just need to understand the concept.
