Pretty limited options for hardware monitoring of hardware RAID. Almost always done via software, somewhere.

That's all that there is. Docker is super fast and easy to install.

$7 part to maybe fix a $45 unit. Might not be worth the effort.

It's not cable vs. fiber that makes for reliability, it is all about the vendor.
