    • RE: Facebook Caught Scraping Call and Text Data from Android Users

Wow, the hits keep coming. I feel sorry for all the people that work for facebook if this gets any worse. I did find it strange that I had to remove Ireland from from our block by region firewall list. Totally shut down Facebook. I wonder if they take advantage of the low tax rate somehow by doing that. Hmmm?

Also, your 17 year old will probably change his mind next week. And then again the week after that. And again this afternoon.

This is a bunch of shit.

No it isnt. I added a conditional probably at the beginning. The vast majority of people at 17 are clueless about what they want for their future, except for some nebulous 'to get a job' type goal that their parents have foisted on them.
Just because you swear and berate people on a forum doesnt make you correct.

So who is the pot and who is the kettle?

      Congress approves controversial censorship bill.

The article states the verbiage of the bill is too broad. If that is true, it is yet another shit ass legislation change and no l;arge company that can afford to fight will be able to fight it because it involves sex. That would tarnish their reputation.

Fucking dumb ass American perversion of Puritan values, combined with some other Christian cults that were not wanted in Europe....

Someone will rocket it strait up to SCOTUS. There is so much money in the sex industry. I am not for sure but I bet it rivals the AARP or NRA budget. Besides, it's one of the three pillars of life. Sex Drugs and Rock And Roll. šŸ™‚

From the description given by Zuckerberg, Facebook users appear to have been socially engineered to steal the data of non-users by Alksandr Kogan a professor hired by Cambridge Analytica to "hack" users for them in violation of Facebook ToS. Then Facebook caught them and got CA and the hacker to certify that the data had been destroyed, but instead the team took the illicit data and used it to run several political campaigns.

That is the way i read it. They first sold it to the Ted Cruz campaign, then he fell out. They then peddled it to Trump. The story goes wonky after that. I would comment further but not having the ability to think gets painful sometimes. šŸ™‚

This isnt even the same thing that the Trump campaign and Cambridge did.

No, just sick of people not being able to think and understand that everythign they read on breitbart or see on Fox News is fake. You are incapable of thinking apparently.

I am sorry you feel that way. I was unaware that someone had cornered the market on truth.

FFS, has anyone read their ToS?

They violated them. They didn't honour the terms that they had agreed to. Like someone else we know .

Really? There were so many weasel worded things in there when I read it, I just assumed that they've always been "sharing" information they collect.

This reminds me of Southpark Human Centipad. šŸ™‚
