Packing up the office here. We have decided to head back to NY a LOT earlier than planned. Art has a gig for his buddy that got hurt for a benefit in February and they need to practice with a different lineup before then.

Desktop finally back up (okay it has only been a little over 24 hours).

Weather got rough, but we were fortunate enough to not take any serious damage from anything around here. 30 minutes west, a Walmart had the roof taken off, and down in south Georgia, a number of people were killed by various tornadoes.

He had a 3000# concrete form fall on his foot just before Christmas. He is out of work, can't play and has months of recovery and multiple surgeries to go. So we are doing our best to raise some $$ for him and his girlfriend to cover lost income for the next few months.

Yeah his girlfriend has 2 kids living with them. He has a son as well. So money doesn't go as far as they would like. And while his medical bills are paid for. There are lots of other costs associated with being injured so....

Yeah, I just paid off a major one of those from when my wife passed 4 years ago. All the medical expenses were taken care of, but you still have to eat, pay the mortgage, etc.

Exactly! So that's why we are home from TX early and why we are doing the benefit, to help him out!

UGH I HATE OWA!! So limited in what I can see on a page have to open 3 separate pages to get anything done (well actually it's 9 separate pages, for 3 email accounts). Today is going to be one VERY LONG DAY!

I am having Office issues I can't activate anything. So I also can't use my office aps either on my desktop or online today. DRIVING ME NUTS!

Scott (being my IT team for GroveSocial) is setting me up the open source version. I may move to the hosted at some point. But as this is my first foray into a full blown ERP for GS I want to really dive in and try it out first. I refuse to do my own IT

I used it for a couple years. Mostly just for the accounting but it's a decent suite.

Awesome good to know. I have a new piece I am adding to the GroveSocial line up and I really need a full blown ERP. I looked around at a few and narrowed it down to ERPnext and Odoo for the Open source and Xero(with add-on's) and DynamicsCRM for my paid ones. Odoo might or might not have all I want in the open source are and if you have to pay for their add-on's it gets really expensive fast. Xero I use on the NTG side and really like it and am used to it. Dynamics CRM I have also used so familiar.

So many things to learn here as we grow so open source is probably a great place to start.
