Posting this to remind everyone what we had, and lost... Good job guys. Good flipping job!
As a woman you would think I would have an issue with this.... I honestly don't (despite picking on @DustinB3403 about it).
Women and men are different. You can't argue that. When you try and balance it out and make it equal you get problems.

I still don't have Christmas gifts for my brother and fiance. I have no idea what I'm going to do.
I always do restaurant gift cards or alcohol of some sort.

$100 Visa gift cards.
I have a strict, no giftcard policy. I just think its the least personal gift you can ever give someone
Or most personal... gifts are one of those things that make very little economic sense. People often don't value what you give them as highly as you do, or as much as the item is worth. Gift cards have a static value that is the same for everyone.
I don't see the point of converting a currency you can spend anywhere to a currency you can only spend in a few places max
Newly marrieds (or soon to be) are generally on a budget so they can pay for wedding etc. Or couples with littles etc. I have found that restaurant gift cards are greatly appreciated (I usually do enough for a full meal wherever I get the card for). This gives them an excuse to relax and just spend non-stressful time together. Date nights are a good thing. Add a good bottle of wine for when they get home and voila you got your brother lucky for the night

If you give them cash it get's spent on groceries or something less fun.

The best gift is something the person really wants but would never buy for themselves. That is what I shoot for every year. I built Laura her own PC one year and got her a Chromebook the year before. She uses them every day and loves them.
If the person isn't going to buy it for themselves then they don't value it as highly as you do. That being said I am forced to be hypocritical here. My wife generally has a no gift card rule for immediate friends and family.
My siblings and a few married friends with little ones have loved the date night gift card. Good excuse for peace and quiet.

Just as a random FYI, one of the reasons @Minion-Queen is so awesome is for the very reason I mentioned above. Her and I have actually lost some of our similarities on things as I've gotten older, in viewpoints on various political issues, etc. However, she falls into what is, sadly, an all-too-rare category, that she holds her beliefs, but respects other people's and doesn't chastise them for being "wrong". Then again, Danielle is just awesome in general.
Awww thank you.

RE: iPhone 6 Plus dying... need new phone... suggestion?
The battery life is much better on the 7plus than the 6plus. And the camera is really awesome too.
Processor speed is better. None of those things = not moving to it because of lack of improvements.
While the changes aren't ground breaking they are all still for the good. -

I also have the 7plus and am VERY happy with it. The headphone thing that people made a huge deal out of it... umm my headset and or car connections are all Bluetooth so it doesn't affect me at all.
I haven't had an issue with it yet that wasn't something I have caused with stupid apps
It affects me, you can't charge and use headphones at the same time which was a huge portion of my usage. Thankfully the battery lasts for days now, so it isn't the issue that it would have been with the older models, but it is still a huge pain.
Problem solved.

But with 2 other men around here sharing my age constantly (or sharing theirs) I can't hide. -

Me either! What an exhausting trip! But lots of fun! Thankfully you kept me from getting lost!

RE: Standing Desk
I don't but often think about the fact I should. I have started looking at the type that will sit on my regular desk and just raise up and down.
