After reading the article, Yahoo! is saying it is not supporting IE8 (mostly XP users). This is a good thing even though I may not care for Yahoo! I have too many residential clients who use it.

I would not call a GMC (or most any GM product) high end.

Definitely higher end than the BMW X series. The GMC is more reliable, handles better, drives better, is sportier and more comfortable.

I'm technically a part of the new group of members & in all honesty it's hard for me to speak up when I'm used to seeing what was/is going on to other members over there (berating, having a better than thou attitude or straight dismissed). Although i already can tell here I'll be able to speak up & ask questions without feeling looked down upon just cause I'm not as skilled/knowledgeable...YET.

To ALL:
Most of the members here are the ones I looked for when trying to get an answer, I didn't ask most of the time as most of my questions were already asked & because of what was stated above.. I look forward to learning more from all of you here, maybe teach something when or if I can, & to just grow with this like minded community. Just a shout out to all those who made me feel welcome "over there" and shown me open arms here. So basically everybody here! 🙂

I've never actually had a job experience in IT where I was treated like I didn't know what I was doing because I'm a female. I don't know if this is a reflection of entering the field at 27 instead of 20. When I was in elementary and high school, it never occurred to me to not be interested in science, and I never felt like I was discouraged from it. There were almost no official opportunities in technology, though, for anyone, not just girls. I think this is where Scott's argument comes in: he got access to a computer on his own and a young age, and decided to learn programming, whereas we had a computer when I was little, but I didn't even know it was possible for a kid to learn how to write code.

Regarding the post itself, the megaupload site was most certainly abused by the users to post copyrighted material. That does not mean that Lim Dotcom himself or the company did anything illegal. The US Government definitely overstepped its authority at the prompting of the media companies.
