I don't think I could go back to something other than a Nexus. Not only for experience, but for things like this:
Yep...saw that...forgot to mention it but it was one of the reasons I am looking into the Nexus as well...

Have the nexus5 currently, leaning towards the Note5 for wireless recharging over 6P with new usb cords to buy
The Note 5 has been wicked...serious...but the Nexus 6P has been enticing...

I broke my screen this morning and I was talking about it in another thread
Sorry, missed other thread...usually good at that searching first...
Android Fans...I've decided to leave my beloved Windows Phone and back to Android. If you had your choice, would you get the Note 5 or Nexus 6P? I have that option. I am using the Note 5 now and like it and have used the Stylus a lot. My past experience with Android was with Samsung and TouchWiz and the phones always lagged over time. I hope that isn't the case with the Note 5. The idea of a pure Android OS on the 6P sounds appealing and I might be willing to live without Stylus and wireless charging. The "bloat" on the Samsung doesn't concern me but wish I really could hide the Verizon stuff. Not sure if camera is a major stop down on the Nexus 6P either.
Thoughts? Thanks...
Tempting...very tempting...as I am in a flux right now of what I want for a media center...playable apps is kind of cool...

Look how complicated that is! Three different types of bonus, 2 different subscriptions. They're just a bunch of amateurs run by marketing men. Amazon and Google are miles ahead.
It just boggles the mind doesn't it? It hard to believe they will take it all away to just 1TB since I have Office 365. And if I didn't have it, I'd be down to 5GB I guess, since I will lose all these bonus tiers.

Fake? I don't think there was anything fake about it, was there?
Other than that they kept promoting "unlimited" but kept having limits and never ended up rolling out the "unlimited" as it was. Some of us were still on the waiting list to get it by the time that it went away. Some people got it, but I have no idea what percentage. It was all new users signing up to take advantage of the unlimited marketing, not the people who had tried it originally. Maybe I'm one of the few, but maybe that was the norm, too.
Mine always showed 10.1TB when they went to "unlimited"...Showed 10.3 TB total and 10.1 TB available...so I was barely using it but it was nice to have and was planning on using it for as long as I kept Office 365.
This is what my OneDrive has always shown since I was granted "unlimited storage":
Your plan
Free 15 GB
Your additional storage
Referral bonus (0% achieved) 0 GB
Loyalty bonus 10 GB
Office 365 subscription 10,240 GB
Groove Music Pass subscription 100 GB
Camera roll bonus 15 GB
Paid plan bonus 15 GB
I am just curious as to how and why they would just talk all of this away from me.
Surface bonus 200 GB

Mine never got close to that even. But 10TB would have been a nice start.
As mentioned earlier, I am finally taking your advice and will stop being ALL IN with Microsoft. This OneDrive announcement was the final straw (and this goes back to Windows MOBILE and Zune for me...) I still love the media options on XBOX One and love my Band 2 but open to others now. I'd look at a FireTV but since I have the XBOX and it has Amazon Instant Video, just don't want "yet another device"...wish XBOX would get an Amazon Music app...would be nice...

@scottalanmiller How much is storage on Amazon?
Amazon Drive is $59.99 a year, unlimited too.
It's been good. I started using it in March.
I'm considering moving to this...an Amazon Music, leaving Groove Music. And perhaps a FireTV. (no not going ALL IN on another ecosystem but I've always liked what I can get from my Amazon Prime membership.)

And thus my core issue with cloud anything - if you don't own it, you don't control it & whoever does holds the whip hand.
I use PLEX for my media and may fall back to my WD My Cloud for my personal and controllable cloud.
This right here has started my "Renaissance" or "epiphany" to stop being so stubborn and being "all in" with Microsoft and embracing choice. And should have listen to @scottalanmiller a long time ago and done it...
What did DEVO say? Freedom of Choice, is what you've got. Freedom FROM Choice, is what you want...
I did find a few on Google from some school districts. And this is a single user and close friend to our lead engineer. He will be engineering buildings for us an while, along with our in office engineers.
Might be OK just this once but making a "policy" just makes sense now.
We were going to just share files via DropBox or the like but the push suddenly came to get him VPN access like NOW.
It is one of these "Friday Afternoon Cramming/I Need This Know" thing of thing I am faced with...and we have had no policy because we never needed a policy for this. And only have 3 hours and 1000 other projects to do today.
We are about to allow a consultant VPN assess and use a remote desktop on a PC I've set up for him. I'd like to provide some added security to this setup by having them sign a form for access to our network and with standard non-disclosure and network policies and the like. Anyone have a link to a good template for such a form? Thanks...

I'm a fan and looking forward to the completion of the Prometheus trilogy.
I recently re-watched Prometheus...still scratching my head at a lot of things but I don't hate it...and I hope the next 2 films answer a lot of questions...
I do like how Shaw's "baby" was sort of a prototype facehugger that in turn gave birth to an "alien" like creature. Not sure if we will see that again in the next one but who knows. Looking forward to that...and this true "Alien 3" that Neil Blomkamp is putting together.
I am a huge fan of the original ALIEN and ALIENS. ALIEN3 has some amazing visuals and the ASSEMBLY CUT added a lot of subtext to the film but ultimately, it was doomed by a poor plot. ALIEN RESURRECTION was just goofy and unnecessary but not without it's moments. And I have to admit...ALIEN VS. PREDATOR (the first one) was a supreme guilty pleasure and a ton of fun.
Which bring me to Prometheus. As flawed as that movie was, I do appreciate SOME backstory to ALIEN and the visuals of the film were awesome. It is too bad the writing was so flawed. And while this DOES get a little "nitpicky", this video sums the movie and it's flaws up:
Anyone else like this movie series?
And by the way, I've mentioned this before in older posts...the game ALIEN: Isolation is superb and is basically Alien 1.5.
The Whole Leaving Windows Phone for Android idea is popping up here lately:

Netflix is anticipated to get the streaming rights for the first 6 movies here in the next month. I've already been getting the wife mentally prepared. I've started buying her SW shirts and slipping Han quotes into normal conversation.
I still refuse to acknowledge more than three movies or any edits made after 1985's LD master copy.
Any move that has a character of a Viceroy is never good...LOL.
